Workshop - seminar

We are pleased to invite you to the 2026 edition of the ‘Communication & Marketing Forum’, previously called ‘Communication Seminar’, on 25 & 26 March in Slovenia.

This forum is held every two years since 2014. The main aim is exchanging ideas between federations, getting to know each other, and offering a helping hand, in addition to learning about best practices in other sports. We wish to welcome federation staff that work in the fields of media, comms and marketing.

In the afternoon of Wednesday 25 March, all participants are invited to listen to and discuss the topics ‘Crisis Communication’ and ‘Media relations’. In the evening, we’ll have dinner together.

Thanks to the Slovenian Gymnastics Federation, we'll visit the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup Finals in Planica (SLO) on Thursday 26 March to witness one of the best examples of event communication and marketing. Planica is much more than just a competition. It is a celebration of Slovenian sport, national pride, and unity. It is a place where generations of fans come together — a venue where records are no rarity and where every visitor becomes part of an unforgettable story.

Welcome to the Educational Long Weekend in Estonia!

The Educational Long Weekend (ELW) combines different educational activities in one event and offers a platform for gymnastics coaches, coach developers, sport managers to exchange and to gain knowledge, new experiences and ideas.

PROGRAMME
The main aim of the ELW is to prepare coaches to develop group performances that are more joyful, inspiring and challenging for the participants, with higher quality and more attractive for the audience. The ELW will also provide knowledge and support for the National Federations in preparing, coaching, evaluating and selecting groups for the Gym for Life Challenge, EUROGYM, Golden Age Gym Festival and other events. It will offer you more knowledge and ideas about how to create and develop gymnastics that attract all gymnasts.

The focus areas are: the creative process, composition, evaluation, feedback, coaching and the activity for elderly people.
The ELW consists of lectures, practical parts, discussions, group studies and possibilities to share your own experiences.

EXPERTS
The Educational Long Weekend will be held in English and will have international lecturers and instructors from different countries with extensive experience in the field of gymnastics and sports:

The European Gymnastics Trampoline Technical Committee and the German Gymnastics Federation (DTB), in collaboration with their member, Turnverband Mittelrhein e.V. will organise a trampoline coaching workshop from 02.-04. May 2025.

This Workshop is specially organised for participants from Germany and countries near Germany, but other countries where Trampoline is being developed are also invited. This Workshop is designed for coaching in Tumbling.

PARTICIPANTS
Gymnastics coaches, gymnasts and judges interested in starting, further developing, and/or exchanging experience in tumbling gymnastics. The workshop will be held in English language only.

WORKSHOP LEADERS AND EXPERT COACHES
Mikey BARNES is a highly successful gymnast, Cirque du Soleil performer, and tumbling coach. Both as a gymnast and a coach, Mikey has achieved medals at the British, European, and World Championships. He is a TUM coach and coaching educator for the GBR national team.
Andrew COULTER is a highly qualified FIG tumbling Judge and European Gymnastics Trampoline TC Member.

The European Gymnastics TeamGym Technical Committee, in cooperation with the Swedish Gymnastics Federation and the club GK Motus-Salto, have the pleasure in inviting you to the International TeamGym Conference in Malmö.
This conference will include both practical and theoretical sessions which will be of particular interest to performance coaches, judges, and managers/governing body administrators.
The conference is an excellent opportunity to increase your knowledge about the latest in TeamGym and at the same time influence the future direction of the sport. Practical and theoretical sessions will run in parallel, so it is advisable to send more than one delegate.

The conference will take place at Quality Hotel View, Hyllie Stationstorg 29, Malmö, and in the nearby training hall at Hyllievångshallen, Ymers gata 4, Malmö. The training hall is about 6-7 minutes by walk from the hotel.

Participants from other continents are welcome, if they are members of one FIG federation, and with the agreement of the said federation.

Educational Choreography Camp
The main aim of the camp is to prepare coaches to develop group performances that are more joyful, inspiring and challenging for the participants, with higher quality and more attractive for the audience.
The camp will also provide knowledge and support for the National Federations in preparing, coaching, evaluating and selecting groups for the Gym for Life Challenge, EUROGYM, Golden Age Gym Festival and other events.
The focus areas are: the creative process, composition, evaluation, feedback and coaching.
NOTA BENE: the minimum age to participate is 16 years. If a participant is under 18 years old, they need to be accompanied by another participant from the same NF that is over 18 years old and take the responsibility for the underaged participant.

Symposium
The symposium will offer you more knowledge and ideas about how to create and develop gymnastics that attracts all gymnasts. We will focus both on the coaching and managerial aspects. The symposium consists of lectures, practical parts, discussions, group studies and possibilities to share your own experiences.
The symposium targets coaches and responsible people for children and youth in Gymnastics for All.
NOTA BENE: the minimum age to participate is 18 years old.
