Women's Artistic Gymnastics Technical Committee member since 2018.
Mairead Kavanagh was Irish national champion in gymnastics in 1989, followed by activities in coaching and judging. She has been the national head of women's judging for 5+ Olympic cycles and an international judge since 2001, being the first judge from Ireland to be selected to judge at Olympic Games in 2016.
Additionally, she is a board member of Douglas Gymnastics Club and since 2019 the deputy chair of the Gymnastics Ireland Board. Professionally she works in the field of corporate banking.
