Babette van Wetering is the Trampoline Technical Committee President since 2023 and she has been a member and secretary of the Committee since 2014.
As a competitor between 1987 and 1995, Babette van Wetering won a bronze medal in Synchronised Trampoline at the 1992 World Championships. A coach since 1991 and an international brevet judge since 2001, she has judged at two editions of the Olympic Games as well as at the Youth Olympic Games. Today she is closing in on three decades of involvement with the sport as an athlete, coach, and judge tutor for Trampoline, Tumbling, and DMT. She has been the President of the European Gymnastics Trampoline Technical Committee since 2023, where she played a role in the organization of the 2024 European Championships as well as numerous coaching and judging workshops. In her daily life, Ms. Van Wetering is a high school teacher in German language and literature.
