Trampoline Gymnastics Technical Comittee member since 2026
The World Championships silver medallist in DMT in 1998, Joao Marques stands among the most successful Trampoline gymnasts Portugal has ever produced. After a long career that included appearances at five World Championships and five European Championships, he turned toward sport administration and judging. As Trampoline Technical Director at the Portuguese Gymnastics Federation, Mr. Marques has been responsible for six World Cup events in Trampoline as well as the 2024 European Championships in Guimaraes. A national judge for 28 years, he has judged at international competitions for 12 and also lectures on judging and coaching at the Portuguese Federation.
