Actively involved in Rhythmic Gymnastics for more than 20 years, Saila Pitkänen is an international judge, national team coach, educator, and consultant. She has been heavily involved in developing Rhythmic Gymnastics in Finland, assuming key roles in advancing judging and education practices.
A Category 1 Brevet judge in Individual Rhythmic Gymnastics since 2005 and Rhythmic Group Gymnastics since 2017, she has officiated at the Olympic Games, the Youth Olympic Games, multiple World and European Championships, and World Cup events. Passionate about ecology, Ms. Pitkänen has also contributed to sustainability initiatives within Finnish Gymnastics. Beyond the sport, she has extensive experience leading teams and driving complex projects across diverse sectors.
