Gymnastics for All Technical Committee member since 2023 and President of the Committee since 2026, after having taken over the position ad-interim in 2025.
After more than a decade facilitating Gymnastics for All events throughout Portugal, Ricardo Lima stepped in to be acting President of the Gymnastics for All Committee when the need arose in 2025. Mr. Lima’s athletic background is in Trampoline Gymnastics: he participated at World Age Group Competitions in 1998 and 2002 during a long career that stretched between 1990 and 2002. He has been a Trampoline coach since 2005.
Mr. Lima holds a degree in sport science/sports management from the Technical University of Lisbon. He was Executive Director of the TeamGym European Championships in Guimaraes in 2021 and Deputy Executive Director of the Golden Age Gym Festival in Funchal in 2022 and the World Gym for Life Challenge in Lisbon in 2025. He has assumed the same role for the upcoming World Gymnaestrada 2027 in Lisbon.
