Men's Artistic Gymnastics Technical Committee member since 2018.
A pillar of the Italian team who competed at four editions of the European Championships and five World Championships, 1984 Olympian Diego Lazzarich learned the art of coaching from some of Italy’s finest. His mentors included Bruno Franceschetti and Maurizio Allievi, who guided Jury Chechi and Igor Cassina, respectively, to Olympic titles.
A student at the first judges course organized by World Gymnastics, he has held an international brevet through eight Olympic cycles and judged at five Olympic Games, beginning with Athens 2004. A member of the Men’s Technical Committee for the past two Olympic cycles, Mr. Lazzarich has also been an integral part of Junior Men’s camps held each summer in Italy and Greece.
