A member of the Women’s Artistic Technical Committee since 2018 and President of the Committee since 2026, Mairead Kavanagh brings significant experience in the planning and delivery of major European events.
The Head of Women’s Artistic Judging in Ireland, she is additionally an advisor to Gymnastics Ireland’s Events and Performance programmes and joined the team at Gymnastics Ireland in 2024 as Director of Community Support and Operation. A former international competitor and coach, she has sat on the board of one of Ireland’s largest gymnastics clubs, which has more than 2,000 members.
A university graduate in professional banking, Ms. Kavanagh has more than three decades of experience in commercial and corporate lending.
