Ilan Gazit has been a gymnast on the Israeli national team from 1977 -1986 and is a coach and judge on the international level (since 1981). He is the technical director of all judges and coaches courses at the Israeli Gymnastics Federation as well as director for national competitions. Since 1990 he equally has been the Olympic commentator for the gymnastics competitions for the Israeli national Sport channel.
